About the Event
Our meeting hub is an old building that has had a number of retrofits in recent years including getting off gas, insulation, lighting, solar PV and car charger, draught proofing and some different examples of improving window function.
We'll host a one hour talk on retrofitting your home by Malcolm McKelvie and include a tour of the relevant features of the hall.
There'll be plenty of time for questions including time after the one hour session if people want to chat over a cuppa.
Malcolm is one of the founding members of BBSN and is the energy group leader. He's been interested in sustainable building since he was a teenager, owner built a mud brick home in the 1990's and has been heavily involved in the home energy assessment and retrofit service offered by BBSN.
