About Us
Baw Baw Sustainability Network is an independent not-for-profit group bridging the gap between talk and action on sustainable living.

BBSN began in 2007 when a group of ordinary people from around the West Gippsland and Baw Baw Shire area, concerned about the environmental situation of the planet, decided to form a sustainability group. The Network has since flourished with over 100 members and reaching hundreds of interested people across our region.

BBSN focuses on two main areas - helping people reduce their energy use at home or small business and on promoting local food networks and gardening.

BBSN runs regular monthly information nights, workshops, Creative Harvest Edible Gardens weekend, participate in Sustainable House Day, offer a range of energy assessments, draught proofing retrofits and most importantly, provide a space for like-minded people to socialise, garden, discuss, plan and do.
